My robot designs for #marchofrobots2021

Was fun to give a little art challenge like this a try, while using it as an engine to get inspired to create again and also a test of creating art on my new phone. I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra earlier this year and was keen to see how well the S-Pen worked alongside the mobile version of Clip Studio. Turns out it works awesomely!

Having a pressure sensitive stylus to use really ups the ability to create and paint, and the simulated brushes in Clip Studio work really well (and I definitely need to explore more of them, mainly just messed around with the watercolour brushes so far). It's making me think of using my phone as more of a tool than a... communications device? Entertainment device? I guess phones really aren't mainly phones anymore lol...

Anyway yeah I hope you enjoy the little robots I've drawn for this challenge!

Took a little sketch I did last year and cleaned it up digitally and added colour. Getting more used to using #clipstudiopaint on my new phone. Just discovered how to easily create speed lines like this heheh
