Loop State of Mind
A collaborative animation project produced by Alex Pracas and Phillip Healey (aka Corteks).
This project was a perfect testing ground for combining our 2D and 3D animation skills, and working on a project from concept through to final product as a team.
The sound was mastered by Rob Healey (aka Ghostsoul) bringing this animation together to provide a highly immersive experience!
We were inspired by the Loopdeloop theme "Window" when producing this looping animation. Hope you enjoy!

An overview of the outdoors scene I built for the animation, rendered out using the Toon Shader in Arnold
The main character (animated by Alex) running through a twisting 3D environment! The environment was built by me in 3D in Maya, with numerous methods of deformation
The texture of the environment was painted in watercolour (by Alex), and then I edited it digitally into the environment texture, ready for animating!
A parody advert I created for the animation, rendered in Arnold and composited/edited in Photoshop
